Dear Prabhus,

Hare Krsna! I hope you had a safe and pleasant holiday.

2005 was a heavy year for us…disastrous hurricanes, a deadly accident, and global catastrophes. Despite the extremes we all faced, Lord Krsna’s cows were safe and sound for another year at their home, the ISKCON New Talavan Community in rural South Mississippi .

Please therefore consider a partnership with us, caring for the Lord’s most dear creatures, His beloved cows and bulls, the mother and father of humanity. I’ve sent out our Adopt-a-Cow brochure for this year and hope you’ll choose one of the donor categories, and take the time, expense and trouble to forward it back to us with a generous donation.

Last year we collected almost $12,000 through our Adopt-a-Cow program. It is our most important capital fundraising campaign. Every cent is utilized for the herd’s benefit: primarily for hay, pasture maintenance, fencing and land taxes.

New Talavan has been protecting cows for over 30 years. We cannot do it without you. Please contribute and be one of Bhagavan Sri Krsna’s eternal cowherd boys and girls.
